Campus Climate:
Most administrators, faculty, and staff are supportive of transgender people. There are a few out gay and lesbian faculty members, but no known out trans faculty. There is only one known transgender student on campus. The school is Dominican and doesn't have much experience with transgender students. Overall, the school is very open to accommodating transgender students and students try to have LGBTQ events for every major LGBTQ day throughout the year (coming out week, transgender day of remembrance, day of silence, etc.) However, it is difficult to come out as trans without the word spreading quickly around campus.
